Addio Nonno: Adieu Grandfather!

"Condoglianze Alice, stammi bene...

"A mia moglie, ci penso io..." era solito ripetere.

This week I had to say goodbye to my grandfather Giovanni, who died Wednesday, October 26th at 16.30.
It 's an experience that I have experienced better than expected, most of the time, when I lost someone dear to me, I approached everything in a way in my opinion wrong, suffering and not constructive.
Now, I seem to have taken it well or perhaps not even realizing I'm not.
It 'was moving to the speech of my father's altar, surprising that my grandmother suffering from Alzheimer's, doesn't understand what was going on, amazed that my uncle doesn't attend the wake for his father, bored by the same speeches and greetings from people who did not even know .

"Condolences Alice, take care ..." yes, the same words, all accompanied by a polite smile and a pat on the shoulder.

The image I have of my grandfather is a man well-fed horse that walks through the fields with no time or space.

I remember his plant of kiwi on the fence of the stable, his love for horses, his orchard, and his watchful eye of my grandmother.

"To my wife, I'll ..." used to say.

I will always remember, in one morning in October when I visited him the last words we exchanged:
"Grandfather, I came to visit you and see how you were!"
"Well, then I thank you that you came, I enjoy it "

I do not remember ever said to me in a way more sincere than this, smiling at me sitting in his favorite chair.

Grandfather, I greet you with this as I wished in my thoughts, come back soon on the Saddle!

Scatola Musa : Loculo Musa

We take the idea from the blog Euforilla and see a little 'what comes out.

The Muse Box, which I renamed Musa's Niche (a word that has many meanings for me) is a container of happy thoughts and emotions that we have done during the week.
It would be filled every Sunday, but I will not give me deadlines, for fear of being unable to comply, and so ... say that I am starting today: on Monday.

° Guardarsi allo specchio e piacersi

° Since that you're pretty, I stay here with you.
° No it is just that ... you're not caught on!
° No excuse me, is that I speak without being connected to the brain!
° Place the ugly slippers at the home of Sara and hear a strange smell in the kitchen
° Drinking a cup of Chinese tea with the in-laws and Richard
° Tell the Tg and always err on the same things
° Watch the mirror and liking myself
° My God, my mother's cold!
° Make yourself blur with a sock and try to fix the situation when the twist loose once you realize you are strangely super Smurfette!
° To walk with a heel 10 ° for about 3 hours and not feel sore feet
° Delivery censuses with bike for 3 hours and at the end of the day realize that we have activated the microcirculation with unimaginable consequences (such as always keeping your feet warm)
° Put the mattress on the table and stay together in the living room to sleep after Casseuola!
° Have many censuses to monitor and systematically organize the day

What a wonderful life!
